SPARQZ stands for sparks, the essential ingredient in creating. That is what I believe in and it is, in fact, my life motto and consequently the name of my business. My work is always focused on the engagement of people, particularly in the fields of recruitment, coaching, guiding, facilitating, and moderating.

I enjoy coaching people (both early career and executives) about work-related topics such as career, leadership, dilemmas, and stress. I'm also able to provide this type of coaching online as an e-coach.
My expertise and experience lies in the field of Leadership. I'm inspired by the must-read book on leadership 'Why should anyone be led by you?' by Rob Goffee and Gareth Jones of London Business School, published by Harvard Business School. One of its core messages is: 'Know yourself more and show yourself more - with skill - in context and with style.' Engagement is the key idea here. With this in mind, I've coached people at the following organizations among many more.
Guiding comes close to coaching: helping people from one place to another of their choice. I do that with care, with fun and in an engaging way. During winter I am a ski tour guide in the Italian Dolomiti mountains, going from rifugio to rifugio while visiting the most beautiful places the region has to offer. Additionally, during summer I take my boat (a sloop for up to 12 people) out with tourists through the canals of the historic city of Leiden and over the lakes of De Kagerplassen. You can view a gallery of photos below.
I facilitate and moderate business events, both small events (of up to 20 people) and big events (of up to 1,000 people). Also, I can serve as a Master of Ceremony. I've done work for ING, the Centre for Strategy & Leadership, NOBCO (the Dutch Association of professional coaches), IMS (the Institute of Management Studies, FFP (Federation of Financial Planners).
